We continue with Philippians 3:12-14, focusing on the concept of maturity. Paul says, "Not that I have already attained or am already perfected, but I press on." The word "perfected" here means to mature. Maturity involves making responsible and accountable decisions. Paul uses maturity to signify an arrival at a place of accountability and growth. As you walk through your life, you will see new opportunities and relationships that you are now mature enough to handle. Maturity allows you to leave behind mediocrity and pursue what aligns with your values. Paul encourages us to leave past hindrances behind. As you think about your walk-through, recognize that past beliefs or situations were simply what you could handle at the time. Let go of old triggers and see them for what they were: moments of growth or lessons learned.

Decide today what you want to be part of your new life. Understand that you create your beliefs, and it starts now. Your walk-through should guide you toward behaviors and thoughts rooted in God’s word. Just as you might renovate a house, your life can be remodeled and improved. Remember, the walk-through is a vital tool for achieving a better quality of life. You have the power to create a renewed, purposeful existence.
