In this session, we focus on the concept of following up with favor. Favor means an attitude of approval or an act of kindness beyond what is due. I learned this principle from my mother, who, as a customer service director, inspired others to go above and beyond in their service. My mother’s approach to life taught me to command favor confidently. People often showed her kindness, and she would follow up, building lasting relationships. Who in your life has shown you favor? Can you follow up with them to build on that connection? This practice will help you establish boundaries and reinforce positive principles. Luke 6:45 says, "Out of the abundance of your heart flows the issues of life." When your thinking aligns with favor, your behavior will reflect it. Be aware of double-mindedness, which James 1:5 warns against. Double-mindedness, or vacillation, can prevent you from fully embracing the favor God and people show you. Choose a course of action and stick to it.

Do not doubt the principles you’ve learned. Practice favor by being kind beyond what is expected, both to others and to yourself. Recognize that favor comes from consistency and integrity. Build relationships with those who have supported you, and be mindful of people who may only want to benefit from your favor. Following up with favor leads to more opportunities and blessings. Be intentional about nurturing these relationships, and remember to extend the same favor to yourself. Within the next few months, make it a point to follow up with those who have shown you kindness and support.
