This session addresses behaviors and thought patterns that are either productive or counterproductive. A core principle here is termination, which means ending or letting go of what no longer serves you. To grow and transform, you must let go of stagnant relationships, mindsets, and habits. The most important relationship is with God, followed by your relationship with yourself. Both should involve continuous growth. Change is a constant, and you must confront areas of your life that hinder your progress. For this session’s exercise, create a two-column list: 1. Productive: Write down people, decisions, and relationships that have positively impacted your life. Categorize them into mentality, emotions, finances, and relationships. 2. Counterproductive: List things or people that have been unhelpful or harmful. Consider the same categories.

Reflect on your list and ask yourself if these elements align with your core values. God desires a better-quality life for you, and part of this journey is embracing new thoughts and motivations that elevate your spirit. Letting go of counterproductive influences may be difficult, but it’s crucial for emotional and spiritual growth. Be honest about how these things have affected you and be willing to let God guide you through this process of renewal.
