Why this program

Anger does not always begin with the moment everyone can see. It may build through stress, frustration, grief, fear, exhaustion, unmet needs, or repeated patterns.

This program helps participants slow down, recognize what is happening, and practice a different response.

What you will learn

Recognize Triggers

Understand situations, thoughts, and experiences that increase anger.

Notice Warning Signs

Identify physical, emotional, and behavioral signs of escalation.

Regulate the Response

Learn practical tools for pausing, grounding, and responding with greater control.

Communicate Clearly

Practice expressing concerns, needs, and boundaries without aggression.

Build Accountability

Understand the impact of behavior and develop repair skills.

Create a Personal Plan

Develop a personal anger-management and emotional-regulation action plan.

    Amethyst Roberson is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Certified Anger Management Specialist-I. Through A.R. Therapy & Consulting LLC™, she provides practical, trauma-informed education focused on emotional awareness, communication, accountability, and healthier responses to conflict.

    Is this therapy?
    No. This is an educational program focused on anger-management and emotional-regulation skills.
    Will this satisfy my court order?
    Acceptance must be confirmed by the court, probation officer, attorney, or referring agency before enrollment.
    Is this a domestic-violence program?
    No. This program is not a Batterer Intervention Program.
    Will I receive a certificate?
    Yes. Participants who meet the attendance and participation requirements receive a certificate of completion.
    Can I participate for personal growth?
    Yes. Adults may enroll for personal, relationship, workplace, or educational goals.
