As we conclude this series, we focus on the three keys to healing: 1. Love Yourself 2. Deal with Trauma 3. Do the Work to Heal Healing is a journey, and it doesn’t happen overnight. There are moments of sudden realization, but some wounds take years to heal. Be patient with yourself. Healing is a spiritual process that is unique to each individual, but these three keys are universal. The first step is to love yourself. Commit to loving yourself even if no one else does. Believe in your purpose and what God has called you to do. Find out who you are through God’s word and other resources. Next, deal with any trauma. Trauma doesn’t just disappear; it often roots itself within you. Identify your disappointments and figure out how they are impacting your life. Unresolved trauma can lead to discontentment and diminish your capacity to trust or love.

Finally, do the necessary work to heal. Healing requires action. Whether it’s through counseling, mentorship, or studying resources, you must put in the effort. Healing involves reaching out and finding guidance from trusted individuals. Remember, faith without works is dead (James 2:14). Healing involves taking responsibility for your life and doing the work to bring about positive change. Reflect on the sessions that resonated most with you, and revisit them to understand the steps you need to take. You have the tools and principles; now, it’s time to apply them. Proverbs 4:7 says, “In all thy getting, get an understanding.” Understanding leads to a life full of health and growth.
