Ministry leaders are first responders of the heart — not emergency clinicians. When safety is at risk, connect the person to trained help immediately and stay with them until help is engaged.
If someone may be in immediate danger
If someone is threatening suicide, is experiencing abuse, or cannot safely care for themselves, contact emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource immediately.
